..pation.
I'm flying off to the UK tonight. In 12 hours I'll be strapped into my oh-so-comfy cattle class seat, planning my viewing for the trip to Doha (about six hours). I've skimmed what's on offer, and right now it's looking like Letters to Juliet, Prince of Persia (hello Jake!), The Bounty Hunter and Just Wright. All that, of course, could change. Fascinating, I know. I've heard the food is pretty good on Qatar, so I'll forego the pre-flight BK, and trust that dinner at home will tide me over until they serve up the sludge. I mean, food.
I may be British, and I may have spent a lot of holiday time in London (and yes, I've done the touristy thing on occasion), but the wee one DEMANDED that I update her on what I eat, what I see, where I go. So, here it is. A mini-blog tracking my exciting just-under-two-weeks in the capital (with a couple excursions out of the city), the exciting things I see (anything more than sitting on the sofa watching Jeremy Kyle qualifies), the yummy food I eat/don't eat/fail to find/cook, the fabulous people I catch up with and... yeah, other boring stuff nobody aside from myself is likely to care about, but I'm going to inflict it on you anyway. So there.
Bring on the holiday!
